Principal Update
Dear Parent/Carer,
Rebecca Curtis has decided to resign as Principal of Summerhill Academy.
We have greatly valued Mrs Curtis’s collegiality since she joined us in January 2018. During her tenure Mrs Curtis led the school improvement journey at Summerhill and supported families of key worker children from both the Infant and Junior schools during the pandemic period. Her leadership led to anticipated improvements in outcomes at KS2 last year and developments in the quality of pastoral support for vulnerable pupils owing to her experience in using the Thrive approach.
